  1. U can try moyea flv to video converter. With this converter, you can download, play, and convert flv vids to wmv or avi format that windows movie maker supports.  I'm using it for a long time and it works very well.

    1. download the video (it will automatically be saved to your hard disk)

    2. convert the video to wmv or avi

    3. edit it with Windows Movie Maker.

You can search "flvsoft flv converter" on google.com for more info.

    Here is the official link.

    Good luck.

  2. I think u have the youtube file saved on your computer but the problem is to import it in movie maker. If this so I have an easy way withour converting.

open my computer then tools>> folder options >> View tab >> and uncheck  hide extensions of unknown file types then ok.

You will see the name of your video now , x*x.flv  . Now rename it to x*x.mpg and it will be visible in movie maker but u should have a possible codec. If u have any problems , don't hesitate to contact me on dr.supertest@yahoo.com

I hope It will be useful for you. But I am sure it works. waiting ur reply

  5. You'll have to save them first. Get a Firefox addon called 'DownloadHelper' which can save the source of Youtube videos to your PC.

  6. Download FlashLynx from NCH Software.

The file size is less than 1MB. Then paste the Youtube URL into the "Add URL" box and set your output as wmv. Click "convert". This should only take one or two minutes. Then, go to Windows Movie Maker and click "Add Video" then locate where you saved your video and drag it onto your timeline.

  7. Its a flash file so you need to convert it to MPEG or something WMM can understand.
