Can viewtys recieve large messages? (LG Viewty Mobile)?

Question

My friend sends texts to me.. very long ones, and my viewty doesn't receive them, but small messages are fine..

And it isn't that its her phone..

i then put my phone in my nokia 6288 and receive with no problems.

perhaps a setting i can change?

As far as I am aware the viewty receives SMS messages up to 7 pages which is normally the maximum that phones can send.If it is longer than this then it should receive it as more than one message. I have had no problem receiving long messages so I am not sure that there is an answer to this problem... are the messages over 7 pages?
