it will damage all ur files in hard drive ..thn it will slow up the speed of ur laptop processor..thn it will spread in ur program files making ur OS being damaged ...thn slowly ..ur device of lappy will start getting damaged ..and thn ur hard drive ..........so remove ur virus by scanning it ...use kaspersky 6.0 anti virus ..it is d best

it cant physically damage hard disk but it can corrupt the information present in one.

there is a virus which is called a boot sector virus, this virus gets activated even before the os is loaded....some of these viruses prevents os to load and thus preventing the pc to start
