Question:

Can walking cause shin splints?

I had shin splints last year because I ran so much. However, I still run but take days off and I stretch a lot more than I used too, so I haven't had shin splints since.

I was wondering that if I I walk (not power walk) for a couple miles on my off-days for running, would I get shin splints?
