  1. No...that is a myth about watching in the dark.  Watching too close may cause some eyestrain/fatigue, but it isn't permanent.  If it were, we'd all be in trouble by the time we were 4 years old.  All small children watch it too closely and don't end up with permanent damage.

  3. Yes, watching the TV too near and in a dim light can cause bad vision. They will cause your eyes to strain and you will feel more tired and sometimes get migraine.

  5. If the lighting is bad, or you are too close , it can make your eyes feel tired, then make them uncomfortable. When they start doing that , you will stop doing what you are doing.

    It's not like you can force yourself to keep watching when your eyes are burning...so no harm done.

    It can't damage your vision . That is a myth.

    Your brain is smart enough to make you stop before any harm can come from it.
