  1. i don't think so since its just water.its like a renewable resource

  2. yes, it can expire. It will eventually become stagnant and bacteria can grow in it. So while it lasts a long time, it will eventually taste bad and even make you sick.

  3. Yes I believe so.  There are expiration dates on bottled water.

  4. Yup. Open a bottle of mineral water, and leave it in a warm place for a few hours. Smell it afterwards, and it will smell awful!

  5. yahh it kan.

it even says if it is on the bottle.

and yeahhhh i have no freaking idea lol

  6. water has a expiration date because after a while the plastic bottle that the water is in starts to break down and contaminate the water, which can actually be quite dangerous so if you are re-using a mineral water with tap water or water from a bigger bottle only use it a maximum of twice or it can cause you problems.

Sorry porkchopbut your kinda wrong and right the water itself cant really go off but the time in the bottle is critical in making you very ill indeed. The chemical lexan which is a plastic made to make most re-usable bottles contain another chemical called styrene which can leech into the water and this is a known carincinogens. studies are showing that peolple can it can also affect childrens development and even cause breast and uterine cancers

  7. No, they put an expiration date on bottled water because they are required to by the FDA to put expiration dates on all foods and drinks (this includes bottled water). After a certain amount of time, bottled water because of the plastic may not taste  as fresh but is still safe to consume. Bottled water can be used indefinitely if stored properly. Water coming out of the tap doesn't get old.

Well, according to the FDA (HDPE or PET polyethylene terephthalate) which I assume you are talking about only give off a small amount of chemicals which are well in the margin of what is considered safe. It's only containers that have a high percentage of polycarbonate like the ones people buy at camp sites that can potentially cause health risks.
