Question:

Can we Edit Posts on a Yahoo Board?

One of the posters on a board I moderate has asked for ALL Of his posts to be removed... there are many. He even wants the ones imbedded in the text where others have RESPONDED to be removed. Can just his post be edited out of the responses already in the archives?

If not, what are thoughts on whether this is unfair to others who have posted and may want their posts to remain intact?

thanks!

  1. posts cant be edited once they're part of the archives. if that member is still a member, they can delete their own posts, let them do all the work. all they have to do is type in their member ID or e-mail and the whole page will list their own posts, they open it and on the left upper it'll have links Reply | Forward | Delete  all they need to do is click the delete for each of their own posts.

as for the posts other replied to which may include that persons replies as well, no one in their right mind should ask that and I wouldn't worry about those at all
