Can we Help our mother with Clean coal?Energy is the key to once life in the future,is it? or is it not?

Coal is our most abundant energy resource and the good news is that, with modern technology, it is very clean burning.  With modern scrubbers, it only emits CO2, which is, of course, a harmless gas which has no negative effects on the environment.

Clean coal is even more of a scam than global warming.   CleanER, maybe but not clean.   Efficiency is the key, next comes conservation.   That should take care of us for the rest of our lives if implemented fully.

i think the problem with coal is just like with oil is that it is a limited resource and we are at the mercy of the companies that provide it. solar and wind are virtually limitless. yes, i know the sun will eventually burn out and somebody has to build the solar collectors and windmills.

coal just seems like a wimp out and that we are trading one problem now for another problem later on.
