Can we add a myspace friend without their last name?

I found a friend from my past school but i cant send a message to him because it wants me to add him. Well i clicked add friends and apparently i forgot his last name i dont know what his email address is. How do i bypass this?

i guess ur guna have to figure out their last name...old yearbook maybe?
