  1. In principle these kind of tickets are not open for Europeans to buy (which is daft in my opinion). If you read the FAQ on the homepage http://www.raileurope.com/us/faq/tickets... they do also state that they cannot be sent outside the US or Canada

    You can of course buy tickets on the spot but it will not necessarily have the same conditions, flexibility and price as if you buy in advance before you leave home
