Can we catch Heathrow Connect at 8:13am if Virgin Flight from USA is sched. to arrive at 7:05am this Sunday?

US family with 2 kids (good walkers 4 and 7) and luggage. T3.

The Connect leaves at 8:13am - and next train is 9:26. May opt to buy HEX in advance if we won't make it out of customs, baggage and into Central Heathrow Train Station in time.

If you ask me you'll be cutting it very thin.

Queues at Heathrow are terrible. It is possible to do it, but you're giving yourself a lot of unnecessary stress.

It's possible, but certainly not guaranteed.  If you're exceptionally lucky, in that your bags are first off the carousel and there are no queues at immigration and the flight actually lands on time, then you could get out of the arrivals gate by 8am.  But the timing is really tight, and personally I wouldn't want all that stress.   Myself, I'd just get on the underground/tube.
