  1. To an extent. The dream world is usually a reflection of what is going on in your life. Also you can meditate before going to sleep. Concentrate on the one thing you want to dream about. Pretend like it is in the center like right above your nose. Close your eyes and just vision it for about 30 min straight. Has to be completely quiet when you do this and be still as can be. Sit up don't lay down.

  2. Well i know once i was having a dream, and my brother woke me up, and i went back to sleep, with the continuation of that dream..

  3. yes, all you have to do is think about what you want to dream for about an hour or two before you hit the bed. although not everybody can do it, and not everybody remembers what they dreamed.

  4. Once I had a dream wherein I was completely aware that I was dreaming, so I was able to dream about what I wanted. But I was also aware of my real surroundings.

So yeah, you can choose what you dream, but it isn't really a dream because you're half awake too. It is best done during daytime, or when there is some amount of light. And it also requires a lot of willpower and concentration.

  5. If you think about something repetitively while you are in bed right before falling asleep, chances are that whatever you were thinking about will be fresh in your mind and more likely to come up in your dreams. It's the same principle that applies when you go to bed really worried about work tomorrow and then dream that you showed up at the big meeting with no pants, lol. Just reverse that and think of something really cool over and over again until you fall asleep. It's your brain, it does what you say.
