Im using Nokia 6300 and a bluetooth GPS receiver. I tried Yahoo Go 2.0 beta but no options to connect to a GPS receiver.

I am able to see maps and search but no GPS connectivity settings.

Has someone able to do this on a Nokia 6300 or any Nokia S40V3 phone , for that matter.

  1. I found the way to do this and hopefully it will work for  you too

    Go to the main page

    click on Options

    arrow down to help

    Click on Local and Maps

    click on the

    How do I...

the question is How do I connect and use a GPS device in yahoo Go 2.0?

well now to paraphrase the answer-

    IT IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR BLACKBERRY 8800, n95, N93, N93I, N75, E65, E50

SO UNFORTUNATELY IN THIS CASE - IT ISN'T GONNA WORK

**positioning is only available for devices with built-in GPS receivers

The other way I did find the option for GPS is this way.. and maybe it will work for you-

    i clicked on local

    found a Map

    r hand corner is OPTIONS

    connect GPS device

the whole thing asks for permission to access your GPS going forward to provide enhanced services, search results and other content.

    Note;

if you have it, it will connect,

otherwiseit will say the GPS on your device cannot be accessed.. please check the security and GPS settings on your phone and ensure that the GPS DEVICE is switched on and connected to your phone.

this is the best i can do- hope it helps!
