Can we do all of this with $10,000?

me and my fiance just bought our first house and we also got a loan for $10,000 to do renovations. the house has 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, one large livingroom, a diningroom, a kitchen and also a extra large room for whatever we choose. we plan on putting all hardwood floors through the house besides the kitchen and bathrooms we will tile.. also we are re-painting all the walls to colors we like, putting in new bedroom/bathroom doors, a dishwasher, crown molding, two new vanities with vessel sinks, a stand up shower as well as a soaker tub, and new light fixtures. and if we have any left over we'd like to put in new cabinet doors. is this doable with only 10 grand? if we shop smart that is... =))

Only if you do absolutely all the work yourselves and buy the supplies from Home Depot. Even there, you are pushing it.  Open up the Lowes and HD websites and see what just the parts cost for all this you are planning.  Have a priority list and bare supplies cost list so you can decide what to do first and what to do in the next five years, because that's probably how long all this is going to take.  Good luck.

sounds to me like you'll be just fine---the killer is the hardwood floors throughout...see if you can carpet the bedrooms and get laminate flooring--the more you save the more you can use somewhere else---like landscaping or windows or something.
