Can we do this to my bro's old phone?

My brother lost his enV in april and i just recently found it under the chair seat. can my mom and i reactivate his old phone and change the number so i can have it?

Well You need to put yourself in his shoes--how would you feel if something as valuable as that was lost, then practically covered up and given to him? I think you should ask him

If You found your cell phone again would you still have use for it?

You also might wanna evaluate if he NEEDS the phone. I think it would be best just to talk to him (with your mom) about it and say

Look I dont think you need the phone and I would find more use for it.

Or even better just buy him a new phone and then take his old one.
