  1. yes

  2. Yes you sure can, I have done that...

  3. yes, just take your licence with you and any supporting papers with you. as long as you have a relatively clean licence, you'll have no trouble.

  4. Kar;

    I recommend that you obtain an International Driver's License.

    Google: International Driver's License, it will come up in your area. Cost: $12.00-$35.00.

    With your USA License, it is a back up form of I.D.

    Just to be on the safe side. Most countries recognize an International license as the U.S. does.

    When you get back, tell me how many Kilometers you did.

    Ha. Ha.

  5. You want to "sell" (Verkaufen) the German Highway?

    Yes, you can rent a car to drive on the Autobahn with an American DL. Caution - the right of way rules are different in Europe. Please study the signs before you throw yourself at the mercy of European drivers.

    Example: At a 4-way stop - the one to your right has the right-of-way - not the one who was there first!!!!!!!!

    I wish you "Fahrvergnuegen!"

    P.S. Rent your car state side... is cheaper!

  6. you need to apply for an international drivers license, me and my parents went two years ago and we needed to apply for one. i'm pretty sure the law is still the same.

  7. All the way to Germany to drive a car fast?

    Surely it would be cheaper to do it at home

    -lol even if you do get a speeding ticket!

  8. Of course you can! However if you are staying more than 6 months, you need to apply for a license.
