  1. I think so, if it includes Scotland and a portion of Ireland, then it should be United Kingdom

  2. No. I like it.

  3. You need to elaborate, drop it how? Why?

Not participate in the Olympics? Not be called Team GB? (but then what else would the team from Great Britain be called?)

You need to expand on what it is you are asking.

  4. No - I think Team GB is a brilliant name.  Says it all really!

The team is made up of English, Scots and Welsh.  In some sports the Northern Irish can choose between GB or Ireland apparently.

  5. Why is everybody so bothered about it? Sounds much less pretentious than the other options... No, I don't agree.

  6. I agree -  I'm Scottish not British. A GB team may mean more chance of medals, but it may well remove our national means from the european/world stage.

  7. Well... it's a team... it's Great Briton...

    Team GB makes sense.

  8. I don't see why!

It includes England, scotland, Wales and Northern Irland

What should it be called? I don't understand!

  9. Who is we Gunner, you and a few mates. We must move with the times but I agree with you all the competitor's represent GREAT BRITAIN what is wrong with that

  10. Couldn't agree more with you. It's so passe and corny, like jolly hockey stick days.
