  1. in my opinion corruption is the main hindrance in poverty & slow progress rate

defence is important, ya but if money is being stopped for defence & weapon purpose, poverty could be minimised but again only if corruption is also minimised

  2. yeah but then that brings up the issue on safety,  im all for helping those in poverty, but when you think about it, we have a LOT of enemies who would love to blow the s hit out of us.....  if we dont at least keep on top of our defensive game, bad things can result....  im tired of all the money wasted on wars, and more c**p to send in to the wars, and all the poor soliders who dont know why they are still over there....  but we need to defend ourself as a country, because 1 bomb can take out the eastern coast...

  3. Necessary spending on weapons is essential, overspending is certainly

not advisable, that money can be used in poor upliftment.

  4. the only way to eliminate poverty is to do the one thing the majority of the world cannot do.....................................b... selfless.

  5. No, the money not spent on weapons will end up in somebodies bank account and to the poor.

  6. Absolute poverty does not exist in developed countries anymore.  It is only relative poverty.

Have you thanked a laissez-faire advocate today?

  7. No.

  8. if we get rid of ALL OUR POLITICIANS yjen we might be able to gey rid of poverty. Our politicians are the bane of ALL our troubles, past, present amd future.

  9. ya...to some extent

  10. It probably would help some, but first we need to eliminate all the illegals we have. Instead of taking care of them, we need to take of our own people first. We spend a lot of money on those people, and do you know they do not even pay taxes on their paychecks, like we do, green card or not. We even pay them more social security disability, than we do our own disable. I say wake up America, cause we are going down the tubes.

  11. Absolutely

  12. if the profits from weapons were invested into poverty, there would be no poor.

  13. Absolutley not. It would cost us more good paying jobs in the long run. We have to create more good jobs not eliminate them. Attempting to be politically correct has its cost and it usually falls on the shoulders of hard working Americans. Sadly, an attempt to do something good sometimes creates a bigger problem than you already have.

There is no greater example than the green movement. Supporting this looks like a great cause, because no one wants to destroy the planet. With all its merits, it has taken a great toll on middle and low income Americans. High energy cost accounts for a wide range of problems we have here and abroad and we simply can't afford to continue down this path.

  14. I don't think so. Disarmament is necessary but a country has to think about its safety too. Yeah, profits made from weapons should be spent on poor.

  15. not 100% but we can eliminate poverty by emloyment give education to poor people and give them proper support and reservation in field.

  16. i like spending my money on weapons thank you very much. i have sixteen guns, 32 knives, two slingshots, and a pair of nunchucks.

  17. No, because then this will spark off a chain of poverty and despair.

All blacksmiths will  lose their livelihood as no king or duke will endorse them. The ore miners will also become poor as no smelters will buy from them.the smelters will become poor as no blacksmith will buy bars from them.

This will lessen our great city's protection and then the uncouth barbarians from the north will invade our great kingdom causing famine and poverty.

  18. No, cause then the people making them will lose their job.  If you really stop poverty, stop giving them free stuff.  Force them to work and execute anyone that commits a crime instead of working.
