  1. Some "powers" of the X-men could be made possible through future advancements in genetic manipulation and an increased understanding of how the brain functions as a whole:

A genetically engineered human organism whose DNA was enhanced with that of a cuttlefish could, theoretically speaking, alter its external color, texture, and appearance--much like a shape-shifter. And, if the workings of the brain could be deciphered more thoroughly scientists might gain new inroads into telepathy and ESP.

  2. It's not possible.  The X-men routinely perform acts which violate the laws of physics.

    Sorry to disappoint you.

  3. i sure hope so! :D

    that would be GREAT!!

i wanna find some toxic waste to roll around in and get super powers! :DD

    hahah

  4. Yes, the X-men most deffinently ignores the laws of physics, but there is a possibility.

Never say never, I mean it.

  5. Mutations are a loss or duplication of genetic information.(real science mutations anyway) to believe more is religious fanaticism.

  6. Fiction!!!!!!!!

It makes everyone think impossible things and make them seem mad

  7. Years years ago.

The sun is the center of solar system is false.

    The earth is flat.

    Years ago...

The stepping of man on the moon is a science fiction.

Even the idea of communication over the phone.

And so, what's my take?  I won't shut down this idea now, because in years time, I don't want to make myself feel so dumb that this thought is a reality!

There is already an on-going experimentation of 'teleportation' if you read some interesting science journal.

And I believe, that yes, it is a possibility that we could have those untapped powers.  Primarily because, there are a LOT of our DNA is thought to be 'irrelevant', 'unused' or 'non-sense'.  But maybe, because it is just untapped, or perhaps, we are just dumb at the moment to understand it.
