Let's get rid of all the taxes, that would make life much easier.

Let's finance the enforcement of law and public order, protection of property, economic infrastructure (roads, legal tender, enforcement of contracts, etc.), public works, social engineering, and the operation of government itself that way:

every citizen votes the laws directly online (that way we wouldn't need so many politicians, senators, governors....), and when they vote each law and decision (for instance staying in Iraq or coming home) they pay a small amount of money, for instance $30.

That way people would be active in governing the nation and they would make better decisions because the decision making process would be shared with the whole population and not only with a few politicians that might be selfish or not understanding of the issue

  1. No.

  2. So the $30 is a tax.

  3. I think this is a good theory but many problems would occur.

    -Who would maintain the servers?

-Could the people who maintain the servers be trusted?

    -What would happen to congress?

-What about stuff such as schools, emergency services, and people on disability? How do we pay for those or enforce development?

-Who would direct the people in getting their votes in on time?

-How would you know if a person voted twice(or infinite)?

-Do people have time to vote on every matter at hand(including state laws)?

-What about hackers(how would we pay the people to stop hackers)?

  4. We could get rid of a lot of taxes and make the system much more simple if everyone wanted it, getting rid of all taxes would probably be impossible. The first thing that would have to happen is cutting spending drasticly, because thats were taxes go, our government spends spends spends. The next thing is all of the debts would have to be retired, we have a $10 trillion debt and if that was gone we could cut taxes big time, next we would have to put the USA first, because if we are always building missile defense for Europe or sewer systems in India and patrolling the middle east we can never cut spending. Its a big job but you sound bright so figure us a plan.

  5. Check out THIS presidential candidates views on taxes.

  6. So, where would the monies come from to finance all that a government needs to provide.  Only those who can and wish to pay a poll tax would get to vote?  I thought that poll taxes were declared unconstitutional...

  7. I love that. I have always thought that someone who pays 130 thousand dollars in tax should have more of a vote than someone who pays nothing( and I am not only talking of poor people who pay no tax but also very rich people who pay no tax due to loopholes)

  8. No. Your plan makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Most citizens aren't informed enough to vote on those issues and wouldn't vote  if cost them $30.

  9. you can take home loans or
