Can we get virus by going to some web pages that yahoo shows us when we search for something?

I was wondering if yahoo automatically blocks the pages containing virus or not, and how to search stuff on the internet without getting virus (how to find out if a website contains virus before enter it). Thanks.

no but you can get pretty lethargic from staring at the screen for too long.

you can always get a virus, no web host can protect u not even yahoo...go to avast.com and then downloads and click on home edition and download their antivirus software its the best ive ever seen and its totally free no strings, no spam just free!! give your email and youll get it for like 3 months then you give your addy one more time and get a yearly key, every year its free and it updates automatically and will delete viruses as soon as u get one and will be a rel life line!! a tech for dell computers told me about 2 years ago and it really is the best.
