  1. Yes. Cuba has no problems with visitors from the US, and places no restrictions on them, so just having US stamps will certainly not be a problem.

It is not true that Cubans are not allowed to leave Cuba. Cubans are required to have permission to leave the country. (And that permission is only given after they have a visa to visit another country). For most Cubans, the problem is getting the visa, not the permission to leave. (And not even the US gives visas to everyone who wants). Once they have a visa, for most Cubans, the permission is just a bureaucratic matter.  Is that really that much different from the US, that requires its citizens to get permission to visit Cuba ?

  2. Certainly, Cuba wants all the tourist business it can get.  Cuba does not place restrictions on travel on ANYONE, except its OWN citizens...they are forbidden to leave the country..I actually have never understood why anyone would WANT to visit a country where they know the people of that country are actually prisioners in their own country.  I would feel so sad for thses people while I was there  that I don't believe I could enjoy the visit.  But It is NOT the same siuation as between some middle east nations.  The U.S. restricts American citizens' travel to Cuba to those who qualify for specific licenses, and Cuba restricts its owb people from going anywhere, but OTHER tourists are welcome IN Cuba no matter where they have previously travelled.

  3. Cuba has no issue whatsoever where you've been, even if it is the US. And the Cuban government does not restrict US citizens from coming into Cuba...it's the US that restricts their own to go to Cuba and make it a chore to get in.

So it will never matter or affect present day or future travels to Cuba. Go and enjoy Cuba.

As for the Cubans themselves, they are allowed to leave the country. There are no bars at the gates of the airports to prevent anyone from going. Cubans are known for going in and out of Cuba and have to come into the country through certain airports. So obviously, they're not as bound as one thinks. But, as Beardo said, it's a matter of being able to get a visa for their travels. That can be difficult and can take some time, but that goes for many places elsewhere even where it's not a socialist country (even in North America it can be difficult). And Cubans that leave are not considered dissents as some have said.

    Have fun in Cuba!

  4. For sure you can. absolutely no problem.   Cuba welcomes Americans too it's the American government that is out of sinc certainly not Cuba.
