  1. No! An egg needs to be kept at no colder than 92 degrees Fahrenheit to allow for the initial meiosis. After the first few days, it can be kept at a little cooler temperature, but the chilled dozen you will find at the super market will never hatch.

  2. I've had it were I was frying eggs and I broke the shell and a dead embryo fell out.. Really disgusting.. Probably an anomaly, but I guess it's possible with some types of egg (free range probably).. Also found blood in the eggs a couple times.

So.. Buy 10000 eggs and try to hatch em!!*

  3. Okay well in order for an egg to hatch after it is layed, a male has to fertalize it. The eggs you buy at a grocery store have never been fertalized. You can not fertalize eggs from the grocery store either its immpossible the tempature has ruined it that possibility.

  4. cutie cat.. that only applies if they eggs are fetilized.. they aren't even.. you could incubate a market egg straight form the femal and it'll never hatch..

the egg is fertilized BEFORE it's layed.. how's a male supposed to fertilize and egg with a thick shell on it?

  5. No. The eggs we eat are infertile - the hen lays them without ever coming into contact with a cockerel. In order for the egg to be fertile, the hen must have mated with a cockerel before laying. Even if supermarket eggs were fertile, being kept in a refrigerator would kill them.

  6. no

the eggs are picked so they cant be hatched

  7. no

    never

  8. No. They aren't fertile, they'll never hatch. All you'll get is a rotten egg.
