  1. Not just pigs, but with other animals too. I don't think they deserve to to killed at all, but they do not have to die such a torturous death. They are not criminals!

  2. omg, your so right. i thought i was the only one who thought this. i'm not vegan, but i don't eat red meat. [it doesn't taste too good to me anyway]. the funny thing is, people who do this act like we're all stupid. like every single one of us don't have a clue. pfft [=

  3. Pigs in the UK are treated far more humainly now than they were a few years ago.  Now they are allowed to roam free and they have shelters to sleep in at night or if the weather is bad - years ago they were kept in really small pens which meant they couldn't move about at all. Literally born then locked up until they were slaughtered, never seeing daylight.

Pigs aren't just killed, they are actually electrocuted (which stuns them) before having their throats cut.  I know that still sounds incredibly cruel but chickens are treated worse - they are hung upside down and passed through an electrified water bath before having their throats cut by a massive mechanical blade.  The problem being that many chickens move their heads and totally miss the electric bath so are still fully alive and aware of the next step.....

  4. it's possible...and it's a matter of where you get your food...i know in the universities a few months ago, were against buying eggs from places that abused chicken in how they were living...cramped and caged on top of each other living in each others' f***s.  so they were against that.  something like that can happen with pork...or just become vegetarian...you can research if it means a lot to you and see where you buy from...or protest...

  5. No i don't think so 'cause technically pigs are the only kind of animals who give pork so in order not to pass pigs away they are no chance we're getting pork.
