Can we hypnotise frog?

i read in a notebook that if we put frogs at their back and gently stroke on their stomach they get hypnotised. is this true?

All that does it relaxes the frog, though it depends on what exactly you mean by hypnotize.

If by hypnotize, you mean controlling it to do your bidding, then no. If you mean by 'putting it to sleep', then that's somewhat true.

No more than it's true for an alligator. Blood supply to a frog's brain is along it's spine, and the brain is suspended in fluids. Flip it over and the blood supply is somewhat slowed down and the brain... "slips into neutral" is how I've described it with gators at least.
