  1. removing silencer will increase noise .....but pickup power of bike increases  ....don,t have so much impact on milege....

Removing silencer is very benefecial for engine...but not for environment...Its called mufflar which reduces sound and harnful gases...

mileage can be increased by tighting a s***w called mixture s***w on carburator ....you can see mechanic tighting it while service...

it adjusts the oil going into engine...

remove silencer for increased engine performence but donmt increase mileage

  2. You won't see any difference in mileage, except for the lower figures that most get.  And that change is caused by the rider being in love with the new loud noise, and giving it more throttle to enjoy the noise.  So, no perceptible change due to the bike, but to the rider.  I have Cobra slashdowns on my bike, and love them.

    Happy riding.

  3. no you cant it reduces millage still more. silencer indirectly controls the fuel inflow.

  4. i dont think so

  5. nope dont do anything for the mileage but make is less got to have back pressure wil do nothing but make it loud

  6. no, removimg silencer will not increase uor milage but it will increase pollution

  7. Don't believe that "sound pollution" c**p! Loud pipes have kept me alive on motorcycles since 1964. A**holes in cars don't look, don't care, and won't see you unless you annoy them sufficiently! If you want to live, LOUD IT UP!! And it does help the mileage.

  8. Removing the baffles can reduce back pressure. The valve springs many times rely on back pressure levels and as a result you won't get completely adequate compression during combustion. It's far better to research your engine and buy a "tuned" exhaust that requires re-jetting the carb or re-mapping the computer controlled ignition system.

Physics are involved here and a basic principle in physics is that for every action there is a re-action. Removing the baffles is a new action and there will be a re-action that produces a new end result.

Removing them can't possibly increase mileage and from a user perspective will decrease mileage simply because most people will tend to rev the motor more and more often just because of the sound...

The step of just removing the baffles without compensating, the plugs, air flow and fuel mixture combinations is in no way beneficial to the operation of an engine and it is a totally ridiculous thing for someone to suggest. As proof of how ridiculous this suggestion is - manufactures would void your warranty coverage for doing this and that should tell you everything you need to know in regards to whether it's a good or bad idea
