Can we install a new culvert ourselves?

With all the rain we have gotten, our culvert for our driveway has rotted making our driveway flood. Do we need to involve the county and pay a fortune for them to replace it or is it something we can do ourselves? Where would you buy a culvert?

  1. It can be rebuilt by yourselves because materials are easy to find and easy to install. Remove the debris down to the level desired, install 12-14 dia concrete pipe, backfilll with bank run gravel, cover with heavy plastic, and then top with concrete. A 6 in security curb, L and R, would be a good detail. Make note of the prevailing culvert diameters around there.

  2. U CAN U GOTTA GET A PERMIT AND ASK UR CUMMUNITY ..FARM PLACE  .
