Can we invent a time machine?

No. Nobody has done it at any point in the future and then returned to an earlier time to tell us they've done it.

it is possible. But inorder to make a time machine you must be able to bend time and reality. In the future people will be able to study the black holes. and somehow capture one and learn to control its power. black holes are the only things we know so far that can go back or foward in time.

no one has proved it possible yet.

but scientists including einstein believed time travel was possible. einsteins theory was that when u go at the speed of light time around u slows down, putting u at another time then what u should be at.

Well technically, we are traveling through time.  We can even travel through time faster, by changing our relative velocity.  It's an Einstein thing.

Unfortunately, (or perhaps, fortunately) it is impossible to travel back through time.  There are some hypothesis about multiverse which would allow time travel, but only through an alternate dimension.  Traveling back through time invites paradox which is the biggest argument against the possibility.  Heck, most science fiction stories about time travel are all about avoiding paradox.

So, is it possible to make some machine to do the deed?  Really, only with the multiverse thing.  Basically, you go back in time, and you branch off a new universe.  A different one from which you left.  Let's say you build a machine, and travel back and kill your grandfather before he becomes a father.  So now what?  You go back to your own time, and find out you never existed in the first place.  No time machine was ever created because you weren't there to create one.  Nobody knows who the heck you are and suddenly you are detained in Gitmo for being an illegal alien.  Nice.  Meanwhile, back in your universe, you travel back in time and never return.  Nobody knows if you even live through the experience.  The police bring in your best friend for questioning, but they can't make any charges stick without a body.

I believe that someday it may be possible. We as humans never stop inventing.

Just look at all the technology we've accumulated from the stone age to the say 1900. that amount is 1/10000 of what we've amassed from 1900 till today. Just think of what it will be like in 100 or a 1000 years, how about 100 thousand or a million years.

Who's to say that we are not visited by people from the future, if they said Hi I'm from the future, we would think their crazy, or maybe that could explain UFOS. You know what a Grey looks like, right? Maybe that's us in a million years.

Or perhaps they don't want to visit history in this time period, maybe it's boring to them right now

its not, theoritically we would need to travel at a speed more than the speed of light. now a layman may say that with more and more power we should be able to go faster than that.

however, all laws of physics and maths when applied showed that it would require infinite(not just very large but actually infinite) amount of energy to do so, which is just not possible.

moreover, if we believe that it is somehow possible, then uptill now we should have been visited by people of future, and knowing human nature, they would not keep it quiet.
