A few days back when I went to the dentist for my yearly checkup, I came to know that my baby tooth on my right side hasn't fallen yet. Yes! you heard me right. It's my baby tooth or in other words milk tooth and I am a married woman with two kids. Until then, I never knew that it was my baby tooth that I had always admired. Many complimented me saying that I have a lovely smile because of that tooth. Now, I had to remove it yesterday (and I am too upset and crying) as the tooth was very weak and I had no choice but to remove. The doctor earlier promised me that he would do an implant after removing the existing one. The x rays showed that the real tooth that needs to grow, is inside the gums and couldn't grow as the existing tooth didn't fall and give way. He said that he will have to remove the one that is inside as well, as it is upside down and in a wrong position. But, after trying for an hour, he couldn't remove due to the upside down position and also it was disturbing the nearby tooth. Therefore he suggested me to go for a bridge instead of an implant. Now my concern is that.. will I be able to get a replica of the baby tooth that he extracted yesterday? Will they be able to do the replica with the help of the bridge. I am so sad and upset. I am worried that my smile would change :-( Please help! Thanks in advance!!!
