Can we make money from sponsored listing websites?

I have few domains registered. I would like to add some sponsored listing. My questions are: Can I make money from sponsored listing and if so where can get them related to each site? Please note that I am not talking about "Google adsense". For example see this:www.globalengineers.com

If your site has a decent PR and a quite a few visitors each month then it shouldn't be too hard to advertise sponsored listings.

My site (http://www.gimme4free.net/) gets 3000 visitors per month and it has only been going 3 months but I cannot sign up to the sites that let you sell links on your site because i havn't got a PR (Page Rank)
