  1. Nope but you could take a wild guess at it.  By touch you can feel when lets say someone felt hot, that's when normally people would take a reading with a thermometer.

  4. No. There is a positive correlation when you plot temperature vs pulse on a scatter graph, BUT the variability is too great to infer any one on one relationship.

    Modern medines like beta blockers that slow heart rate and drugs like cocaine and methamphetamine, which raise heart rate,compound the problem by altering heart rate and not temperature. And one old disease Rheumatic fever has a fever and a SLOW heat rate.

  5. No, you can measure by Signs/Symptoms AND  touch. Pulse rate is more to detect a myocardial infarction.
