  1. I have read on this Massacre and i find in unbelievably attrocious, its disgusting beyond belief when you read the numbers and see the images of what fellow human beings can do to one-another.

But to be honest i cannot say it would be worst in human history, as there have been many such events happen throughout history, heres a link to a timeline of Genocides, and massacures From 1490:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genocides_i...

Keep in mind that there are many unrecorded massacres and Genocides that go untold.

To the Chinese people i am sure this is the most miserable, just as to me the Assyrian/Armenian/Greek Genocide is most atrocious in my mind, as it is close to my heart.

I get very emotional reading on all these Atrocities and Mass Murders Done by mindless drones following orders.

  2. No, it was from a historical perspective an ordinary event that has happened many times and will happen again.

  3. it was horrible, but I can name many worse ones

  4. Do not know that much about it as all I ever learned about it was what I manged to pick up on my own.  Kind of like the Gulags.  All they ever taught in my schools were the holocaust - seems rather odd to restrict the truth so much and center on just one event.

  5. The "Rape of Nanking" was a pretty miserable massacre, but I'm sure that there have been worse.

It's kind of hard to rate these sorts of things.  In Nanking there were approximately 200,000 people murdered over the course of 6 weeks.  In the Protestant city Magdeburg during the 30 Years War, Catholic troops slaughtered 25,000 men, women and children in a single day of rape, looting and arson.

I bet there are others that are just not well known (or I'm not thinking of)...

  6. In history there is no place for a league of best/worst occurrences, while events can be compared, the results should not be a ranking of one against another.

  7. No. There are many worst massacres.
