  1. You can see it with the naked eye!

  2. lunar eclipse you can see with a naked eye or through a telescope it is the solar eclipse it is dangerous to look at with a naked eye.

    hope that helps!

  3. It all depends how far the Moon goes into the Earth's penumbra. If it doesn't go very far in, then the Moon will look just the same as it does at any ordinary Full Moon. If the Moon goes deep into the penumbra, then some shading is visible. When a penumbral lunar eclipse occurs, an observer on the Moon would see the Sun partially eclipsed by the Earth. A large portion of the Sun would have to be hidden before the light falling on the Moon diminishes significantly, which is why penumbral eclipses aren't always noticeable from Earth.

To take tonight's partial lunar eclipse as an example, the penumbral phase is timed to start at 18:23 UT (GMT) and the partial phase at 19:36. There won't be any obvious difference to the Moon's appearance until probably about 19:00. By 19:30, although the partial phase won't have yet started, the shading on the Moon will appear obvious.

  4. Naked eye but if you see a SOLAR ECLIPSE, then its different, you can see it with the naked eye but it's like looking straight at the sun, its hard. I reccomend shades or an xray, i saw a solar eclipse perfect through an xray, you see it perfectly. SOO COOL!!!!
