Can we square off our short selling in the next day during intraday trading?

if done shorting,can i buy back the shares the day after or later in intraday?

No, you cant. Any short or long should be covered on the same day itself. If not, the short positions will be covered by auctions.

no u cant do that.. if u r in short u have to square off ur position on same day... if not it will go auction market and it may end up with huge losses some time...

If you are in the cash segment then you have to square off on the same day.

If by "square up" you mean offset by buying back the shares, then yes.
