I should have been more specific!

  1. maybe or maybe not it depends on what kinds of bldg we built if they are able to withhold in an earth...

  2. Sure

People are not killed by earthquakes.

People die from falling debris such as bricks glass lamposts. In severe earthquakes buildings collapse crushing people inside.

The earth shaking will not kill you. More like a roller coaster ride, its kinda fun.

  3. 9.9 is impossible

  4. yes

  5. YES IF THEIR OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF NO- WHERE, ITS NOT REALLY THE QUAKE THATS BAD, ITS THE LENGTH OF TIME OF A 9.9 LASTS AND THE MORE BUILDINGS THE WORST IT CAN BE.

  6. hmm depends.. if you were out in the deseret you probly cud like lay on da ground and survive it lol ut if u wer in toronto or newyork or chicago(im a newfie from ontario dont know many big cites lol) an earthquake could make buildings topple over and "smush" people lol but if u were in a cellar ud might be ok i dunno

  7. neither the mercalli and richter scales (way of measuring earthquakes) go that high, 9.9 would probably mean the planet is about to explode

  8. Sometime in the next 500 years, a 9.6 is expected to occur in the Pacific Northwest. About 20 minutes later there will be a tsunami about 100 feet high. My best guess is that the FEMA response to this disaster will make their New Orleans response look like a well planned operation. Washington, Oregon and California will probably be fed up enough to cecede from the union.
