Can we swim in the dead sea? If so, will we be floating because of its extremely salty water?

Due to the extremely high salt content of the Dead Sea, the water would have a higher density then fresh water or normal sea water. Considering that less dense objects will float on those that are more dense and also the fact that most people can float in fresh water/normal sea water...Good luck trying to swim in the Dead Sea.

Well, you can TRY to swim in the Dead Sea.

Most people float even in fresh water.  However, you will float higher in the Dead Sea.  Because one floats so high, it is next to impossbile to actually swim in the Dead Sea.
