Can we take a bus from lugano train station to menaggio, itlay?

We are taking train from Zurich and spending three nights in Varenna italy. Looks like best way is to get off train in Lugano, go to Menaggio then take boat to varenna

To get to Lago di Como (where Varenna is), talk to the locals.  They don't have "public transportation" like here in the States or parts of Europe, but you are not the first ones who want to head there.    You're best bet is to rent a car or talk to a travel agent.
