Question:

Can we trust McCain's judgment?

McCain only met Palin once, and choose her to be his running mate. The VP is a very important role. The VP is second in command. McCain had a long list of qualified Republicans whom he knew for years to choose from. Was this a wise choice? Can we trust this man's judgment?

  1. Perfect choice.  I guess he's too tired to be president afterall.

  2. no! he pick his Trophy VP for the women vote.she doesn't  even know what a VP does! Mcsame does again!

  3. Yes we can over Obama any day of the week

    McCain Palin in 08

  4. Well I trust it.

  5. LOL, that must have been a joke...

He cannot trust mcCANE to tell me how many houses he really has. lol,,,,,,,, NO WAY NO HOW NO mcCANE

  6. You can trust his judgement more then Obama's.  Lets talk about the shady people Obama has kept company with over the years.

You are just jealous because Obama's ignorance of not picking Hilary is going to cause him to go down- he'll be history ....  ancient history...... just another democrat to lose the presidential election!!!!!!!

  7. She's a gimmick..you know it, we know it, attacking her will make you sexist...so you have to not attack her...insulting her will make you a bully you cant insult...she was chosen to be the new Hillary in a hope that all Hillary fans will drop Hillary and move to her...once again she was chosen to get the 18 million...no matter what her background is.

  8. His choice was purely political...to get more conservatives and women to vote for him.  We'll see how well it works come November.

  9. Duh...  He voted with the rest of the bush cronies 90% of the time; that's not exactly a panacea for success.

  10. Look at her track record. His choice, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, comes from a state whose lifeblood is oil. Palin favors opening the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to oil and gas development, something McCain opposes. Her family even gets one of its paychecks from the oil industry: Palin's husband, Todd Palin, earned $46,790 last year as a facility operator for BP Alaska in Prudhoe Bay. But that live-off-the-land culture is largely foreign to voters in the lower 48, who are paying high gas prices without the benefit of the oil royalty dividend checks that Alaskans get each year. Eligible Alaskans received $1,654 each in 2007. Just think about it McCain is all for the dependency of Oil. So why wouldn't he pick her. If he has her in his pocket they can develop on the ANWR. Not only that but there has been an investigation going on concerning her use of power. Like I said do some research. Oh by the way she was GOV. for only two yrs. She was elected in 2006 and resides over a population of 7000 people.

  11. I am sure he has an advisers.  You can  trust his judgment more than Obama's judgment. That's for sure.

  12. How do you know that he's only met her once?

The more I read about Palin, the more I absolutely LOVE her!

She has more private-sector business experience than Obama, Biden, and McCain combined.

She has spent more days in the governor's chair than Obama has spent on the Senate floor.

She oversaw a state budget surplus -- and gave the money back to the people of Alaska, where it belonged!

And unlike Obama and Biden, she has not spent her political career enabling the slaughter of unborn babies.  She's ardently pro-life.

She's also a "maverick" who -- unlike Obama with his lofty rhetoric -- is TRULY an enemy of "politics as usual."

It's telling how she brings more to the table than Obama does -- even though she's the VICE PRESIDENTIAL candidate and he's the PRESIDENTIAL one.

  13. Captains of nuclear vessels choose there ex'os from reading there resumes.

Can you trust Democrats for choosing Obama over an experienced Hillary Clinton?

  14. Yes, we can trust this man's judgment. Palin was a great choice...she is qualified, well-liked, and respectable.

Contrary to popular belief, the VP is NOT second in command. The VP has as much power as the President wants her to. Is many cases, the VP has two jobs...to have a pulse, and to break congressional ties. However, in some instances, the President has delegated some duties/responsibilities to the VP.

  15. NO - ABSOLUTELY NOT

  16. Either trust McCain's judgment or trust Obama's experience.. either way we are doomed.

  17. What difference does it make? No one in his right mind is going to vote for McCain. He's an old politician with the same style as Bush.

Do we want another Republican in office? Do we need more war?

  18. No, you can't trust him. He just picked her because she is a woman and he thought he might gain Hillary's voters.

  19. At least his talk and his voting record match.

  20. This was one of the smartest decisions McCain has ever made, this has energized his base and showed women who the real sexists really are. Until now I have been lukewarm on McCain now I will write him a check and buy a bumper sticker, I have a good reason to vote for him now.

  21. Obviously not, but is this the first time you have questioned his judgment?

  22. Yes.  Many people are hired during the first interview, when they are obviously the best person for the job.

  23. You do know he has seen her voting record, right?  She had her beautiful child, knowing would be born with a disability.  She has helped Alaska significantly, and has an 80% approval rating! I think he made a great choice. I keep on liking her more and more.

  24. Heck no, I don't trust anything about him. He made a stupid decision and he should own up to it, he did this out of complete spite, choosing a woman just to "tempt" Hillary supporters to vote him in, not even thinking about what is best for the country and it's safety.

  25. Yes. McCain made an absolutely positive decision.

Yes, we can trust his judgment, a true American.

Yes, they met and had the same ideals for our country.

Yes, he said he wanted a V.P. with his vison for the greatest country.

    Yes,it will be.

    McCain/Palin

  26. Yep; I think McCain made the best decision he has made so far.

  27. He choose a woman to get women votes! He is old too so he may die! lol I think obama is the better choice! He was more sensible!

  28. His choice pandering over qualifications.  I hope women across the US see right through this ploy.

  29. NO!

Even Stevie Wonder can see McCain and his camp are only doing this to get votes, not because he really care about Palin or the American people's opinion.

We are living in sad sad times where people can't see this outright "using of women" to get what you want. I for one am disgusted by it!

  30. i'll trust him first before Obama

  31. Judgment? experience?

These questions came up all the time about Obama, still do

The Presidency is the first in Command don't you think experience should be a factor Obama supporters?

    Executive experience?

I will be voting for McCain

someone who Clinton and Biden both agree has the experience and judgment

    Thanks dems!
