  1. Yep, all you need is a valid XP cd. You can either have two operating systems or you can backup important files, format your drive, then install XP.  Also, most games will work in Vista, you just have to right-click and go to compatibility, then make sure it's running in XP compatibility mode.

  2. If it's a New Computer You Just Bought I Believe You Can.

I Know For Sure it Was Possible last Year! It Was Called a Downgrade Back to Win xp.

Win xp is Being Phased out. So Hurry and Ask Microsoft.

Goto Microsoft.com and E-Mail Them. Believe it or not they Do Get back to you Rather Quickly. For Me it was a few days.

  3. yes, you can

    1. BACKUP the data

    2. Insert the Win XP cd

    3. Format the C: ( the data all be erased)

    4. Install the XP

But if you want to try Vista without uninstalling Vista you can use Windows Anytime Upgrade. You must buy vista Ultimate or Home Premium license then insert the Vista Installer DVD

You can also use the Windows compability checker.

when you want to play a game right click the application then click the tab Compability and click

Run this program in compability mode to

    you choose XP
