Sure  you  can,, Just  go  to  Yahoo  web page.  Then go  to

messenger page.  At  bottom  of  page click  on

launch  web  messenger  and  sign  in.

This  is  a  condensed  version  of  messenger  but

it  works  the  same.

I  think  this  may  just  work to  send  messages  to  people  already  on  your  friend  list.   To  send  to  other people  you  may  need to  first  add  them.  This add  friend feature  may  or may  not  work  on  the   web  version  of  messenger.
