  1. yes, you are forcing your eye to focus on a level that is not natural, is like trying to hold something heavy on just one finger for a really long time

  2. They may give you headaches or eyestrain, but they won't change your eyesight.  Why don't you get some glasses prescribed for yourself?  Or just get some fashion lenses with no power?

  3. yuppers, happened to one of my friends...sucked.

  4. Hope not, Iv been wearing prescription glasses that weren't   prescribed to me for 7 months. The right lens is OK but the left lens is a little off. But not worse!

If you get head aches, migraines, or your eyes hurt real bad you shouldn't wear them!!! When you go to the eye Dr. they have you look through over 20 different lenses to see which ones help you see better and clearer. depending on the ones you let him know  help you see better determines the lens he is going to use foe your prescription. In other words, if you use someone elses glasses and the help you see better (not worse) its not gonna much damage. Impair your eyesight , No. but over long periods of time it can worsen if it doesn't help you see better.Ask your eye Dr or any eye Dr for that matter ,he will will you the same.

But please dont hurt your self- head , eye , or sinus pain means they are NOT better for you. DO NOT Strain your eyes. if you have to strain em, It's NOT better for you.

  5. I wish my eyesight was impaired so I didn't have to read the response above me!

It will impair your eyesight because it is causes light to not properly focus on the retina, giving you unclear vision. It won't make your eyes any better or worse, just blurry. I'm not sure why anyone would want to wear glasses that weren't prescribed for them. Doesn't really make a lot of sense.

  6. yes.

  7. Yes. Glasses help those that have problems with their sight. It are prescribed to help what ever is wrong. If you wear a prescription that's not your own your eyes are forced to adjust to someone else's.

  8. Yes. If the prescription is the slightest bit off to what your eyes require, headaches and eye strain can be the starting of your troubles.

  9. yes ! don't do it.

  10. yeaa they will put to much strain on your eyes and you will eventually feel it. So its a terrible idea to wear someone elses prescribed glasses! Get your eyes check out, and try contacts instead! they will look better, feel better, and wont strain your eyes as much as glasses.
