Can white people attend alvin ailey?

i really would love to go there but im mostly white (like almost all) and i don't want to stand out. also, are white people allowed to go there? im really not trying to be racist!

Just to reiterate everyone else's answers: YES! lol. If that's where you're interested in dancing, go for it! They're great! Ailey II (the 2nd company) has white dancers. They don't choose by color, they choose the best dancer. It may not be evenly mixed, but you won't be the only white dancer. Shake things up, black dancers go to predominantly white schools and companies, so vice versa can be done as well. Go for it, and good luck!!

Yes white people are allowed to take at alvin ailey! I recently went to new york and took a tour of alvin ailey and i saw plenty of people there of all different races.So dont worry you wont stand out.It is based on talent, NOT race.

Dancing has nothing to do with COLOR. Dancing is about TALENT.
