  1. if you are a male and you marry a black female you are more likely to have black children its about a 65% chance

  2. The black gene is dominant over the white one. Some people who have white parents and grandparents have traces of black race in their appearance, such as darker skin and characteristic hair. A good example is famous Russian write Pushkin.

  3. a white couple can give birth to black children

prior to understanding of genetics the mother would have been accused of adultery and in some countries they may have faced the death :S

in order for a black child to come from white parents is for a black gene to be present on both sides and for that gene to be present in the child

so the chances of you or anyone having a black gene in your DNA is fairly low if your family hasn't moved around alot but if your family has a history of emmigration any where near countries with a black population then the chances of your ancestors having black genes in them increases

the chances of both parents having black genes and having a black child is very low about 1 in every 10,000 births

  4. Human skin color is primarily caused by the pigment Melanin. There are believed to be up to six genes involved in the production of melanin, with several known alleles for each gene. The combination of alleles you inherit will determine your skin color.

In most cases of a Caucasian couple having a Black child there is usually a Black ancestor in one or both families. It is however possible for spontaneous mutations to alter gene expression producing darker pigment. Please note that such mutations are extremely rare.

In terms of evolution, random mutations drive evolution, however such mutations must confer a survival and reproductive advantage.

  5. Well you are asking about color, not race.  Or do you mean race and are just to afraid to ask.  And it has nothing to do with evolution.  Yes, it has something to do with genes or heredity.

There are indeed rare cases of of the gene being expressed in white parents.
