Can wind carry a voice?

  1. somewhat to a small degree

    actually it's more like the sound has less friction or loss going away from the wind or in the same direction as the wind


  2. sound is the disturbance in pressure which is carried in the direction of propogation. carrying of disturbance definately affected by wind. in opposite direction intensity of sound decays hence can't be listened properly. or due wind the disturbance spread hene intensity reduces.

  3. you know wind doesn't carry sound.

    sound is produced when the molecules of air start rattling and shaking or moving. when a molecule moves and hits the other one and that one will do the same and it will last till the energy used up

    like this sound will be going through air

    so wind or air doesn't carry it. you know why there wouldn't be any sound in a vacum area?
