  1.  I agree with Guest2788. A very young baby would perish quite quickly, I would think, for the reasons you mentioned. Toddlers might also. Young children have certainly managed it (Marcos Pantoja being a living example). It is also apparently true that young children who do not use human language during the formative years up to the late teens, have generally lost the ability to properly learn (or re-learn) human language. Wolves find infant animals, particularly wolf cubs from other packs, almost irresistable, it might well be that they are able to feel the same way for other species.
