Question:

Can women get a pimple on their outer labia?

I'm 18 yrs old, female, not sexually active, have had bladder problems all my life, and I actually did leak (urine) into my undies today and later on my left labia started itching

I went home, took a shower, groomed myself and found that the itchy spot is like a slighty inflamed bubble, it kinda looks like a pimple underneath the surface. It's irritating, any ideas of what it is? Any products for this? I know it's weird that I pee my pants still, but it just happens, I don't have control of it.

  1. A cyst?  Common, and don't worry about it.  What causes cysts?  In the case of my bird it was an impacted feather follicle.  In your case it could be an ingrown hair.

If it really bothers you then ask your doctor or veterinarian.

  2. Do you shave there?  It cold be a razor bump.  One drop of urine wouldn't burn a blister.

Have you had oral s*x?  That is what herpes looks like - a blister.

Otherwise, you may have rubbed a raw place wearing tight jeans.

  3. If you are 18 and do not have bladder control, you could have the beginnings of trouble further down the line ~ for example, one of the early signs of pelvic floor weakening is incontinence.

There are a range of simple, 'unseen' exercises which can be really helpful with this and do not take long to have a real effect.

Regarding the 'pimple', it is unlikely to be a true pimple, but may be an ingrown hair, a small cyst, or some other issue.

It's great to get some idea of what it could be from this forum, but what you need to do for your own health sake is go to a doctor or women's health centre and get yourself checked out.

Most of these things can be sorted out with a quick course of antibiotics or gel which restores the body's own cehical balance, but leaving anything to do with the pelvic area unattended can have extremely serious consequences which may not become apparent for many years.

    Best wishes :-)

Good luck.  I'm not trying to be mean or anything,

just giving you options.  Good luck!

  5. It's nothing to worry about, dear, it's either a pimple or an ingrown hair. neither of those options have anything to do with pee or s*x or any sort of disease, so you're fine. if it gets more severe, your doctor can prescribe some antibiotic lotion.

  6. well ya really didnt need to include all that...peeing stuff..

might just be an ingrown hair....which happens.
