A yard is 33.22 m long and 17.9 m wide

What length of fence must be purchased to enclose the yard?

(answer) m

What area must be covered if the yard is to be fertilized

(answer) m^2

It would be great for the answer and an explanation of how you found the answer.

Also explanation on how to find the answer is fine too.

  1. Its a rectangle so

    perimeter = how much fene you need is 33.22+33.22+17.9+17.9 = 102.24m

    area = 17.9 x 33.22= 594.638 m2

  2. The fence must be 102.24 to enclose the yard. To get that answer you must follow this formula: l+w times 2. The area is 10453.017 because 102.24^2 is 10453.017. Hope that helps you.

  3. 102.24 Meters

    33.22 *2 + 17.9*2=102.24

    33.22*17.9

    Area is 594.638 m ^2

  4. What length of fence must be purchased to enclose the yard?

    (answer) m

    Perimeter = Sum of all sides = 33.22+33.22+17.9+17.9

    What area must be covered if the yard is to be fertilized

    (answer) m^2

    Area = L x W = 33.22x17.9

    Hope this helps :)

  5. Answer 1: The answer is the perimeter of the yard

    Perimeter = Top + Left + Bottom + Right

    The length of the Left and Right sides are both equal to 17.9

    The length of the Top and Bottom sides are both equal to 33.22

    Perimeter = 33.2 + 17.9 + 33.2 + 17.9 = (2)(33.2) + (2)(17.9)

    = 102.2 m

    Answer 2: The answer is the area

    Area = Length * Width

    = 33.2 * 17.9

    = 594.28 m^2

  6. A fence sits on the perimeter.

    So if a yard is 33.22 m by 17.9 m...then you'd multiply both measurements by 2 (two to each side), and add them up.

    The fertilizer is an area equation.

    Area is length times width. So multiply them together to get the square meter.
