Can you Ace a spike?

Question

See I thought you could only Ace a serve, but I got a Volleyball camp shirt and it says:

"I am stuck on Ace Bandages cause Jaguar spikes cut deep"

So that's what is confusing me. Any ideas?

an ace is only on a serve. that you serve and they don't return the ball back. you can't ace a spike. or anything other than a serve

ace means that it was such a good hit, serve, or bump that it couldnt be touched

if you hit the ball, and a point is scored, its ruled a "kill"

I thought that aswell. I thought you could 'kill' a spike and ace a serve
