  1. this doesnt help but lacrosse ownsss :D

  2. just read the above answer , found the question about harrow sticks. i found the answer , from the woman very very dissrespecful . to both gary gait , syracuse womans team , and all teams at the under 19 worlds . unless you are in the hall of fame you do not ever dissrespect those who are . those in the hall never would dissrespect another member . as far as the dissrespect shown to the two players . notice user id . i also played box lacrosse , in victoria . who do you think took number 22 upon my retirement . tes miss the strings , mesh would be destroyed if placed in the dye . good luck to you . enjoy the sport . to theother lady . i suggest you quit , right now . the sport , does not want you ever . you are very dissrespectful m, and will never win . let a better player on the roster . you cannot or will not ever ever be a lax player .

  3. Yes you can definitely dye women's heads. And you have to take the strings off, otherwise they will become colored too, and will warp out of shape. It's really hard to put strings back on once you've taken them off because of all the exact kinks and bends in the strings. No matter how hard you try, they won't go back to exactly the way they were. You can buy stringing kits that come with detailed instructions or if you aren't comfortable re-stringing your head yourself, you can take it to a local lacrosse store and they can do it for you. Stringing kits are around 20 dollars and it might cost between 15 and 30 dollars for the actual labor involved (if you decide to take it in.)

I apologize, I didn't mean to disrespect you or your answer at all. It was just a fact. Syracuse women use STX equipment, and Gary Gait has a partnership with STX. Go to the Syracuse Athletic Website and look at the pictures that go with all the articles. The player's are using the STX ATK head.

Here's an article about their sponsorship:

I didn't say anything about U-19 Teams at all, but I'd believe that they are using Harrow handles. I completely agree that Harrow was way ahead of the competition with their composite shafts and tapered handle (like the Title IX), but in my personal opinion Harrow doesn't make a good women's head. Not trying to offend, it's just my opinion.

I was not disrespecting you. I was offering my advice and my personal opinion on the topic. Isn't that the point of the whole answers forum? To offer your personal advice/opinion on certain topics?

As for telling me to quit the game? I think that's taking it a little far. I love lacrosse, and I wouldn't dream about not playing. I've been dedicated to the sport for the 10 years I've been playing. Although I haven't been playing for as long as you guys, I'm still knowledgable about the game and I have great respect for all players, new and old because I believe everyone has something to contribute to the sport.. I don't think people should EVER try to turn someone away from this amazing game, especially because of a few words said online.

I'm sorry if I offended you with my answer. I didn't mean to disrespect anyone or come off as rude. I was just sharing my opinion.

  4. you do have to remove the strings and the mesh . also the only die that is durable is rit dye . best to go to thrift shop to purcase used pot . once the dye is used pot is finished . just use plastic cleaner , such as goop . follow directions on package . have friend or coach replace mesh strings . you also asked a question about a stick head selection , the young lady , dissrespected my answer as well as myself . syracuse does use harrow sticks , i was on team canada sidelines for under 19 worlds . every team womens division , majority used harrow sticks . i am 62 years old many rings , both canada united states . member of lacrosse hall of fame . good luck with your head . you have chosen a great great sport . i hope you have the fun and success i was fotunate to enjoy . your team mares will become your friends for life . lacrosse is the only sport that has this mystical bond . enjoy your college scholarship .

  5. put the strings where u dont want the dye at which creates the picture
