  1. I'm a vegetarian and I eat cheese it and there's such a minuscule amount of rennet it doesn't bother me but if makes you feel uncomfortable try non-cheese products. There are tons to try I have vegan friend who uses stuff like that and says it great!

  2. Vegans don't eat any dairy products or meat. Vegetarians still eat cheese. And Rennet is not in most cheeses. Just read the ingredients before you buy the product. :)

  3. Yes, but not if you're vegan

  4. I don't eat cheese and I'm a vegetarian. I stay strictly out of the dairy produce section at the grocery store.

  5. Vegetarian-no meat products

Vegan-no meat products, no dairy products

  6. It all depends upon the vegetarian. Most vegetarians do eat cheese, which that vegetarian is called a lacto vegetarian. I think this is the most common type.

I eat cheese, but I don't eat too much cheese. I've been trying to stay away from dairy, but occasionally, I do eat cheese.

I know that it is made from the stomach of a calf . . . so that's why I try to stay away.

    =)

  7. yes it is not meat you cannot eat cheese if you are a vegan

  8. It depends on how strict the vegetarian is.  They do make rennet free cheeses, and soy cheese.  I don't eat any dairy, I am extremely allergic.

  9. Most so-called vegetarians eat cheese made with animal rennet.  They have a sort of "don't ask don't tell" policy.  Also, many (if not most) don't even know what rennet is.

  10. they do have rennet free cheese, when your veggie, you don't eat meat only so yeah thats about it.

  11. You just have to find cheeses that contain non-animal rennet.  Not all cheeses contain animal rennet.  If a vegetarian eats cheese that they know contains rennet they are not a real vegetarian.  Not looking is just as bad.  Ignorance is no excuse:)
